The cutest thing was that it came with 3 mini skeins in a sock kit (which sucked) that I bought.
Seriously, could you die from the cute or what? This is the only joy I really got out of the sock kit. Super cheap way to sample new yarns, too. I'm dying to make myself some Noro socks now. This next FO has been finished for a couple of months now, but I just got around to sewing the button on last weekend. For the purposes of these photos, it is merely lying in repose.

This is just another bib for the layette. I love the colors and the idea of the single striped-strap, but the join of the solid strap looks like garbage. I was pretty sick of knitting it, though. I have a third OTN for another cousin, but I ran out of yarn on the second strap and haven't bought anymore yet. Clearly, I am over knitting the bibs. However, I am not over the Mason-Dixon Knitting. Little Miss is always interested in whatever I'm knitting, but Julian...not so much. He is interested in felting, though. Purposely ruin the knitting? Awesome! He really wanted to help me felt something so I'm obliging him and doing the Felted Box pattern from Mason-Dixon.
It probably took me all of two hours to finish the bottom and the first 3 sides. It's knit with bulky yarn and held double throughout-yowza. I couldn't finish it last night, though, because I made a lasagna and then we were doing this for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!
Despite the fact that he's on a baseball field, it is football practice. There is a single football field shared by the high school, middle school, and little league. If I ever win the lottery, I'm building these kids a sports complex.Next week, there may be knitting, but there may not be posting. See you when I see you!
